What we are

Take Bookings Now is an online booking system for businesses that sell appointments — salons, barbers, garages, clinics, tutors, trainers, tradespeople, and plenty that do not fit any of those labels neatly.

You get your own booking page, a diary that keeps itself straight, and reminders that cut the number of people who forget. That is the product.

What we are not

We are not a marketplace. We do not list your business alongside your competitors, we do not sell ads against your name, and we do not send your customers to somebody else once we have them. Your booking page is yours; the only people who see it are the ones you send there.

We do not take a percentage of your bookings either. If you take payment online, you connect your own Stripe account and the money goes directly to you. Stripe charge their own processing fee. We take nothing from it.

How we charge

One plan, one monthly price, billed in advance, cancel whenever you like. Unlimited bookings and unlimited staff on every account — charging per staff member punishes exactly the businesses doing well, which has always seemed like a strange thing to do.

The price you sign up at is recorded against your account. Changing our advertised price does not change yours, and if we ever did change yours you would get at least 30 days' notice by email with the chance to leave first. That is in the terms, not just on a marketing page.

Why we review every registration

Signing up does not put a booking page live automatically. Somebody looks at each new business first. It costs us time and it costs you a few hours, but it keeps the platform clean and it means a live booking page belongs to a real business.

Your free trial starts when you are approved, not when you register, so the wait does not eat into your 14 days.

On being straight with you

There is a list on the features page of things we do not do yet — recurring bookings, calendar sync, group classes, packages. We would rather you found that out now than three weeks in.
