Initial assessments and follow-ups
Set them up as separate appointment types with their own durations and prices. A forty-five minute initial assessment and a thirty-minute follow-up, priced differently, is the normal pattern and takes two minutes to configure.
Clinician by clinician
Each clinician has their own hours, their own clinic days and their own list of what they treat. A patient booking a specific treatment only ever sees the people qualified to provide it, on the days they are actually in.
Wasted appointments
A missed private appointment is a slot nobody else could have. Reminders by email are included, and by text if you buy credit. For treatments where DNAs are a persistent problem, requiring a deposit at the point of booking changes the behaviour quickly.
Records and confidentiality
Clinical notes on a patient record are internal and never leave your clinic. Your patient data is isolated from every other business on the platform.
This is booking software, not a clinical system: it is not a patient record system, it holds no clinical data beyond what you type into a note, and it is not integrated with NHS systems. If you need those things, you need something else alongside it.
