Where this fits, honestly
If you run an NHS list, you already have practice software for charting, courses of treatment and claims, and nothing here replaces it. What this does is the front door: letting private and cosmetic patients book online, at night, without a phone call.
Practices generally run it for hygiene, whitening, consultations and cosmetic work, and leave the clinical system to do the clinical work. That is a smaller claim than most booking systems make, and it is the honest one.
A diary per clinician and per hygienist
Dentists and hygienists keep their own hours and their own lists of what they do. A patient booking a scale and polish sees the hygienist's diary, not the principal's.
There is no charge per clinician.
Medical history, updated before they come in
Medication, conditions, allergies, anticoagulants. Attach a medical history form to the appointment and set how long an answer stands before it is asked again — so a regular patient confirms once a year rather than every visit.
The answers sit on the appointment, and anything you have flagged is shown in red before the patient is in the chair. They are never included in email.
