Physiotherapy and osteopathy clinics
Let patients book physiotherapy online
An initial assessment and a follow-up are not the same appointment, and the diary should know it.
Most physiotherapy is a course rather than a visit: an assessment, then a run of follow-ups, then a review. The booking has to reflect that or the diary spends its life being corrected by hand.

What it actually fixes
New patients in follow-up slots
Assessments and follow-ups are separate services with their own durations, so the diary offers the right length.
Paperwork on arrival
Screening questions are answered at booking, and the answers are on the appointment before the patient walks in.
Missed appointments
Reminders go out automatically, and a cancellation cut-off means late changes are at least visible.
Rebooking a course
A run of appointments can be booked together and stays together, so nobody leaves without their next one.
Assessments and follow-ups, at their own lengths
An initial assessment is an hour of history, examination and explanation. A follow-up is half of that. Listing them separately means the diary stops booking a new patient into a slot that was never long enough.
Screening before they arrive
Red flags, medication, previous surgery, what actually happened. Attach a screening form to the initial assessment and the patient completes it when they book, with the answers sitting on the appointment rather than on a screen somebody has to go and find.
Anything you have marked as worth flagging appears in red at the top of the appointment, so it is read before the patient is on the couch.
A course of treatment, booked in one go
Six weekly sessions can be booked together, kept as one course, with one confirmation. The patient leaves with the whole run in the diary rather than promising to ring.
Reminders, because missed appointments are the whole problem
A missed physiotherapy appointment is a slot that could have gone to somebody in pain. Automatic reminders the day before cut them substantially, and you can add a cancellation cut-off so a late cancellation is at least a late cancellation rather than a silence.
More than one practitioner
Each practitioner keeps their own hours and their own list of what they treat. Patients who are mid-course book the person they have been seeing; new ones take whoever is free. No charge per practitioner.
What it costs

Physiotherapy and osteopathy clinics often ask
Yes. Keep the follow-up service off the public booking page and add those appointments yourself, or leave both online and let the patient pick — most clinics start with the first and relax it later.
Onto the appointment, in your diary, where the practitioner is already looking. Anything you have flagged is drawn in red at the top.
It handles the diary and the patient record. It is not a claims system and does not talk to insurers, so if most of your work is funded that way you will still need whatever you use for billing.
Yes, in full or as a deposit, per service, straight into your own Stripe account. Or take nothing online and settle at the clinic.
