Book the survey, not the whole job
Most trade work cannot be priced until you have seen it. What works is putting a fixed-length survey or callout on the booking page — an hour, priced or free — and quoting the actual work afterwards. The customer gets a definite date immediately, which is usually what they wanted from the call.
Fixed-price work
The jobs you can price up front — a boiler service, a fuse board change, a landlord gas safety certificate — go on the page as normal services with a price and a duration. Those book themselves.
