Tutors and teachers

Lesson booking built around after-school hours

Four till nine on weekdays, mornings at the weekend — and reminders that go to the parent, not the fourteen-year-old.

Tutoring happens in the hours around school, and the person who books is rarely the person being taught. Both of those shape what a booking page needs to do.

What it actually fixes

Only free after four

Set the hours you actually teach, including split weekday and weekend patterns.

School holidays

Add a closure and the whole period comes out of the diary in one go.

Different rates by subject and level

Each subject and level is its own service with its own price and duration.

Parents forgetting

Reminders go to whoever made the booking.

The hours you actually teach

Weekday availability that starts at four and finishes at nine, plus Saturday mornings, is trivial to set up. Term-time-only working is handled by adding a closure for the holidays, which takes the whole period out of the diary at once.

Subjects and levels priced separately

GCSE maths and A-level further maths are different services with different prices and, often, different lengths. Set each up separately and the right price is shown once the subject is chosen.

Reminders go to whoever booked

The contact details captured are the ones the booking is made with, which in practice is usually a parent. That is who gets the confirmation and the reminder.

Online and in person

Where you teach is up to you. Some tutors add the meeting link to the booking confirmation message so it goes out automatically with every lesson.

Tutors and teachers often ask

Recurring bookings are not automated yet, so a weekly slot means adding the lessons yourself — quick to do for a term at a time. It is high on the roadmap.

Yes, with your own Stripe account. Full payment or a deposit, set per subject.

Add it to your booking confirmation message and it goes out with every confirmation automatically.
